Martha Hart Johns is executive director of ActNow Consulting and an adjunct professor of developmental psychology in the University of Maryland system. A school-community psychologist by training, she regularly consults with schools and nonprofits that serve youth. She currently acts as director of community engagement for City at Peace National in New York, Los Angeles, Charlotte, and Baton Rouge, while living in Beltsville, Maryland, with her husband. She spends lots of hours in generative thought on the Amtrak!
