Announcing a New Partnership Between NAIS and NBOA

Dear Colleagues, 

We are excited to announce an important collaboration between NAIS and the National Business Officers Association (NBOA) to make it easier for you—our members—to analyze data about your schools.



Beginning this summer, your school will enter data in NAIS’s Data and Analysis for School Leadership (DASL) that will feed reporting in both DASL and NBOA’s Business Intelligence for Independent Schools (BIIS).

The timeline for entering financial operations data will be:
  • Main DASL data entry: mid-June through early November
  • Financial operations data entry: mid-October through late-November
Most schools receive their audited financials in the fall, so this new timetable for data entry means that the data entered will be more accurate and complete, bettering your opportunities for meaningful benchmarking. 

We are excited about this new collaboration and hope that you will see the benefits right away. We’ll share more information in the weeks and months ahead.
