2024-2025 DASL Data Entry Information and Resources

Important Dates

Save these dates for 2024-2025 DASL data entry:

Part 1: DASL Foundation Data (data such as salaries, advancement, enrollment, etc.)

DASL Foundation Data Entry Opens: June 12
DASL Foundation Data Entry Deadline: October 18 at 4:00 PM ET
DASL Foundation Data Scrubbing: October 19-November 19
DASL Foundation Data Released in DASL: November 20

Part 2: DASL/BIIS Financial Operations (data such as balance sheets, revenues, expenses, etc.)

DASL Financial Operations Data Entry Opens: June 12
DASL Financial Operations Data Entry Deadline: November 22 at 4:00 PM ET
DASL Financial Operations Data Scrubbing Begins: November 23
DASL Financial Operations Data Released in DASL: DASL reports are typically available for your use one month after each data entry period has closed.

Initial Steps

Here are some steps you can take now to ensure a smooth data entry season:

Ensure access. Check your DASL school roster and make sure everyone who needs access has it. Only your school head and business officer can edit permissions. Want more detailed instructions? Log into DASL and click HELP in the upper right corner.
1. Log into dasl.nais.org.
2. Click ADMIN in the top navigation bar.
3. Select School Data Permissions (the first option under ADMIN)
  1. Check your DASL users and their permissions.
  2. Add or remove colleagues to DASL.
  3. Manage user permissions.
    
    Still need help logging in? Try clicking "Forgot Password" on the login screen. If you don't have an account, you may need to ask your head of school or business manager to add you to the roster following the steps above. If you still need help, please contact us.
4. Confirm association memberships. Is your school a member of a regional association? Make sure that info is reflected in DASL.
  1. Log into dasl.nais.org.
  2. View your association memberships in the lower right corner of your DASL home page.
    1. If any are missing, contact the association and ask them to add your school within DASL.
