2025 NAIS Diversity Leadership Institute
June 22–27, 2025
Emory Conference Center, Atlanta, GA

As our communities navigate the challenges and possibilities brought on by rapid technological advances and the evolving social landscape, fostering trust and belonging is more important than ever. By coming together around shared visions and values, we can create a more supportive and inclusive future. With a shared commitment to building healthy and inclusive communities, we can ensure that students thrive—enhancing their safety, academic engagement, health, and overall well-being.

For nearly 40 years, participants in this institute have engaged in a purposeful and evolving community of practice aimed at meeting today’s challenges and transforming them into avenues for strategic growth and innovation. DLI’s small- and large-group programming and residential setting create community, active collaboration, networking, and other opportunities that reinforce institute content.

Led by an experienced faculty, DLI participants:

  • Examine best and emerging practices that deepen understanding of common and differentiated human needs, experiences, and levers that create enduring connections in the school and community.
  • Learn and explore approaches to inclusive excellence from experts and school leaders.
  • Explore frameworks for strategic leadership, management, and collaboration.
  • Develop action plans that include peer-to-peer coaching and mentoring throughout the year.
