NAIS Inclusive Schools Network Institute (Online)

June 10, 11, 13, and 14; Virtual
Registration for this institute is now open.

The Inclusive Schools Network Institute (ISNI) will guide school leaders in using a framework for creating a gender inclusive school. NAIS is partnering with Welcoming Schools, a national leader in creating gender-sensitive and positively responsive environments for all children and teens.

NAIS Diversity Leadership Institute

The Diversity Leadership Institute (DLI) is an engaging, trusted community of practice that helps educators meet today’s challenges and transform them into opportunities for innovation and strategic change.

NAIS Equity Design Lab

July 10–12, 2024; NAIS Headquarters, Washington, DC

The Equity Design Lab (EDL) is a leadership and professional development experience that encourages participants to use and share design principles, action research, collaborative skill-building, and best and emerging practices. The goal is to develop innovative solutions and models that independent schools can use to address challenges and opportunities related to equity and social justice inside and out of the classroom.

NAIS Civil Discourse Lab in Partnership with Close Up Foundation

The NAIS Civil Discourse Lab: Building a Plan to Foster Constructive Conversations During Election Season in partnership with Close Up Foundation will give independent school educators a framework and tools to foster open and authentic dialogue around pressing cultural and political issues. Educators are encouraged to attend in teams to create a comprehensive community-wide action plan to navigate the U.S. election season and beyond.  

NAIS Institute for New Heads

The Institute for New Heads (INH) is a highly regarded program for individuals starting their first or second year of headship. You'll gain the knowledge of seasoned heads, the understanding and support of fellow new heads, and the tools to thrive as a leader.

NAIS Institute on Intercultural Dialogue in Partnership with the Global Education Benchmark Group (GEBG)

July 15–17, 2024; NAIS Headquarters, Washington, DC

This three-day institute organized by NAIS in partnership with the Global Education Benchmark Group (GEBG) focuses on how schools can utilize intercultural dialogue to engage your community and further your strategic goals, especially around contested issues or at times of division.

NAIS School Leadership Institute

July 29–August 1, 2024; NAIS Headquarters, Washington, DC

The School Leadership Institute (SLI) is an intensive, three-day residential program that will help you better understand your own leadership style and identify your strengths as well as areas for growth in five key facets of independent school leadership.

NAIS Leadership Through Partnership

September 25-27, 2024; NAIS Headquarters, Washington, DC

Leadership Through Partnership (LTP) is a foundational governance program that provides heads and board chairs dedicated time to build a collaborative relationship, learn about best governance practices, and explore the most common challenges and opportunities facing independent schools today.
