Search Resumes on Other Sites

Even though NAIS offers its members the opportunity to search thousands of resumes through its Career Center, schools wanting to broaden their options may find it useful to check other job search pages.  Below is a list of job search websites that schools can search for resumes and/or post their job ads.


The Klingenstein Center

The Klingenstein Center is dedicated to improving the quality of independent school education by developing and strengthening leadership among teachers and administrators who work in and with independent schools in the United States and throughout the world.  The Center offers schools the option to register as an employer and post their job openings in the job bank area for free.

    Monster.com is one of the first and largest job search websites on the Internet, claiming over a million job postings at any time.  Monster.com was founded as "The Monster Board" in 1994 by Jeff Taylor, who was then President of Adion, Inc., an ad agency he founded.  Monster.com offers employers the possibility to post their job openings and search for thousands of resumes as well.

    CareerBuilder.com is the fastest-growing recruitment and career-advancement source for employers, recruiters, and job seekers, according to statistics provided by Forrester Research.  CareerBuilder.com has the nation covered with its presence in the top 200 local markets.  Employers can post their jobs online and search for thousands of resumes.

    Yahoo! HotJobs is a leader in the online recruiting industry.  Yahoo!     Craigslist

    This online community contains all sorts of classified information, including listings for internships and job opportunities in over hundred of cities in the 50 US states, and 35 countries.  Users are able to view and post listings for free.  Craigslist was ranked the "most efficient" job-recruiting website nationwide in a 2000 survey of recruiters by Forrester Research Inc.
